These are now sold in shallow 4oz tins, not the tall ones pictured. Same blend, same amount, same goodness… just slightly different packaging. Please choose your option carefully. There are three sizes offered here. The 2.5 oz wax melts, the 4 oz or the 8oz candle.
Now available in the 8oz jar size as well as in the 2.5oz wax melt size (not pictured, but there are others on the site that show the size, and these are topped with the same blend of herbs as the candles pictured.) Native Americans believe strongly in the connection between plants and everyday life. The use of the aromatic smoke given off by sage, cedar, lavender, and tobacco is known to bring emotional healing and well being.
These all natural, soy candles are infused with all of the healing power of traditional, sacred Native American herbs. Each candle is meant to bring comfort to the senses, the spirit, and the skin. Herb’s include California white Sage, cedar wood, tobacco, and lavender.
Sage
The smoke is used to bless, cleanse and heal, to ‘wash off’ the outside world.
Cedar
a medicine of protection. Cedar trees are very old, wise and powerful spirits. Cedar is often used to cleanse a home or apartment when first moving in, inviting unwanted spirits to leave and protecting a person, place or object from unwanted influences.
Lavender
This native of Europe is often used for invitation of the spirits. It is regarded as a safeguard against evil.
Tobacco:
It represents the Eastern Direction and the mind. It is one of the most sacred of plants for Native people. Some elders say that tobacco is used to connect the worlds since the plant’s roots go deep into the earth, and its smoke rises high into the sky. This plant is highly respected and highly honored.
There are no artificial ingredients in my candles, and the melted wax can be used for hot oil massage, as well as lotion. I particularly love using these for massage after a day of kayaking. Fills a tent with beautiful scent and good feels all around!
The wicks used are lead free and clean burning. No black soot. No ash. And the empty tin or jar is completely re useable, as the soy wax easily washes up with soap and water.
They make a thoughtful house warming gift, and are excellent to give for all occasions to anyone who could use a little love, light, and healing.
Always burn candles on a safe surface and never burn unattended.
